From publisher blurb:

AN EPISODE FOR FOUR TO SIX WANDERERS IN THE RAMIA SETTING

Our story takes place during the Years of Rain, an era where a massive rainstorm covered all of Ramia, and much of it soon flooded and sank beneath the waves. No one knows how it began almost two hundred years ago, but there are rumors that the great marsh whales had predicted that this would come, that the ancient voices they spoke with had warned of this. The year is RY 610, and it has been raining for one hundred and fifty years. Ancient kingdoms once noble and proud have sunk beneath the waves, and those who have survived have become wary and paranoid that the rain will never stop. We find ourselves in the land of Gorth, said to be a place of mystics and mountains. Gorth is full of small sleepy cedarwood villages, meandering rivers, and high mountains, and is a recently new kingdom in this age of watery destruction and rebirth. The Briarsage family rules from Castle Gorth, the whole structure itself is more of a glorified bailey fort atop the murk dragon Mosswater Midge’s lake lodge.

Where our story takes place though is in the small bustling port town of Anders-upon-Krelb on the northeastern coast of Gorth. Or at least, newly a port town. Our Wanderers arrive here from across the Scalesoul Kingdoms, each drawn by a vision from the town’s ancient patron, a mountain troll named Guurthuul. What those visions are, only each of them know, but it was a call. Making the trek up into the mountains above Anders, they will come to the ruins from the days of the troll empires where Guurthuul lives, and find the troll beginning to fade into the Dreaming, the final slumber for all trolls. Guurthuul will explain to the Wanderers that he has had a dream of an ancient artifact that must be recovered from within a sunken temple far beneath the waters of Anders, a shard of something much greater, and they must collect it and bring it to Mosswater Midge.
