Tryangles is a space-themed game having a board with a triangular grid containing a few black holes, planets, stars etc, with a Base area for each player. Each player has a set of triangle-based polyominoes containing 2, 3 or 4 spaces. A die is thrown to indicate whether a player may place a piece with 2, 3 or 4 spaces. Players place pieces over the special areas of the board with the constraints that:
the player must first play in their base and all further plays must attach by at least two sides to pieces already on the board
black holes may not be played on
planets and stars must be fully occupied with one placement. Planets score 10 points and the sun scores 30 points.
The player to score the most points wins, though the rules do not specify a game end condition.
