Kamikaze is the last TSWWV1 Series Title
With a minimum of 12 Counter sheets (and probably 16 – this is going to be a BIG game) and 20-22 map sheets (14-18 15 mile maps, 2-4 strategic maps) the game picks up the NPAC and CPAC campaigns right were Day of Infamy leaves off.
The campaign starts in November of 1943 with the initial landings on Makin and Tarawa, moving through the Marshall Islands to the Marianas and finally the invasion of Okinawa in 1945.
Additionally the game will include Operation Downfall – the proposed invasion of Japan which will presume that the A-Bomb programme was retained as a last resort (or was late)….
Clearly we will include various learning scenarios plus a variety of modules in the game covering the key elements of the long hard drive towards the Japanese home islands as well, plus some what if items as they are developed.
