Twenty Wargame Classics is a large collection of war and strategy games dating from the mid 1980's to early 1990's. Published by Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI) in 1995, Twenty Wargame Classics also includes games previously developed and published by Impressions Games and Strategic Studies Group (SSG).
The collection actually contains a total of 26 complete games for DOS on one CD-ROM.
A second CD-ROM contains three playable demos of SU-27 Flanker, Steel Panthers and Silent Hunter, all for DOS.
Two additional CD-ROMs contain the documentation for all the games, one for DOS and one for Windows (pdf format).
There are a total of four CD-ROMs.
(A second release of Twenty Wargame Classics in 1996 substituted Panzer General with Great Naval Battles Vol. III: Fury in the Pacific, 1941-1944.
It also substituted the playable demo of SU-27 Flanker with a playable demo of Fantasy General.
The cover art, box front and back, was also slightly altered to reflect these changes.)
