Description
Twenty-nine is a simple adding game played with traditional playing cards.
Are cards are dealt equally to all players, setting aside any remainder. Each player lays a card in turn, adding its face value to a communal total. (Aces and royals count as '1'.) The total cannot exceed twenty-nine; a player who has no legal play must pass. The player who brings the total to twenty-nine gets a point, and the total is reset to zero for the next player. When every player passes, the game is over. The player or partnership with the most points wins.
