After the splitting of Tcyhe, goddess of good and bad luck, we are given two counterparts. Tymora who rules over good luck and Beshaba who manages bad luck. From birth these two would conflict, setting their endeavers forward to destroy one another.
Tymora and her followers hold strong to the idea of putting oneself in danger for great reward. When one risk it all, the look to have the lady at their side. Due to such beliefs, many adventurers follow Tymora or receive aid when visiting one of her temples.
These followers and risk takers receive boons of various power, some are even given specific power for a specific goal. These boons show themselves are the result of ceremonies, one-time use items, or items ment for long journies to thwart the efforts of Beshaba.
