Ultima VII: Forge of Virtue is the expansion for Ultima VII: The Black Gate. Upon loading the game for the first time after it's installation, a violent earthquake rocks Britannia. The Avatar's companions sugest talking to Lord British about the disturbance. The Avatar discovers that the Isle of Fire, previous site of Exodus' Castle from Ultima III, has risen from the depths. Lord British gives the Avatar the use of his ship, The Golden Ankh, to travel to and explore the island.
During the course of the adventure, the Avatar can max out his skills and obtain a powerful weapon, the Blackrock Sword.
