Description

Unavowed is a pocket-sized two-player card game about palace conspiracies played with a deck of just fifteen cards. Players begin by drafting a hand composed of members of the royal court, then play a series of rounds.

In each round, players place one card face down in a secret meeting, and count up in rank to determine the winner with the higher value. The lower-rank card is revealed and loses the meeting, while the winning card stays hidden. Certain cards have the chance to reveal a specific opponent if it was played in the meeting.

When one player wins three meetings, the round is over, but the defeated player has one last chance to secure victory by assassination. If they can guess which of the opponent's cards played during the round - face up or face down - is the highest rank, they win instead!

The loser of the round draws a new card into their hand, both players pick up their cards, then play for the best of three rounds.
