Description

Zilor the Barbed Devil has been on a revenge-fueled rampage. In the days since your recent induction into the Thieves of Moonlight Bay, numerous city officials and nobles lay dead or grievously wounded. The attacks have rocked the city and the Thieves’ leader, Razos Maz, is increasingly concerned that further violence will hinder the guild’s delicate operations.

The Thieves have unconfirmed intelligence that a local devil-worshipping cult, the Crimson Covenant, may be partially responsible for directing Zilor’s assaults on the city. The Covenant’s leader, Ralvir, is a fanatic who will stop at nothing to gain power and destroy those who stand in his way.

Maz’s mission for you is simple: infiltrate the underground fighting arena beneath The Rusty Nail tavern, find Ralvir, and return with evidence of his involvement with the attacks.

Can you sneak your way to success or will your first mission be your last with the Thieves of Moonlight Bay?

This adventure is sized for a party of four level 5 characters of any class, but can be easily adapted for Levels 4-6. It's also designed to be run over a lunch hour or other short length of time, though it can be easily extended to fit into a normal evening's D&D session.
