University of Tokyo Too Far

University of Tokyo Too Far is a board wargame that reproduces the battle between riot police and radicals in the Kanda Liberation Zone Struggle, which is hidden behind the Yasuda Auditorium incident at the University of Tokyo.

In the "Kanda Liberation Zone Struggle", the students of Chuo University, Meiji University, Nihon University and Sophia University advanced from their university campus in the Kanda area to the Hongo campus of the University of Tokyo in order to help the "alumni" (& new left-wing sects) who stood up in the Yasuda Auditorium incident at the University of Tokyo. They clashed with riot police and failed to arrive at the University of Tokyo after all. The process is reminiscent of the "Operation Market Garden", which was the subject of the movie "A Bridge Too Far".
