UNO: Speed Racer

Game ID: GID0373262
Collection Status
Description

The usual Uno rules - Players race to empty their hands and catch opposing players with cards left in theirs, which score points. In turns, players attempt to play a card by matching its color or number to the topmost card on the discard pile. If unable to play, players draw cards from the draw pile until they are able to place a card. Wild and special cards spice things up a bit. Additionally, when playing their penultimate card from their hand, players must shout 'UNO' or face a forfeit of drawing two further cards.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT FROM TRADITIONAL UNO: Race X Card - This card is a booby trap you can play on your rivals. But be warned, you could get caught in your own trap! When you play this card, you immediately flip the top card from the draw pile onto the discard pile (this card needs to be a number card, so, if necessary keep flipping over cards until a number card is on top.

Going in the current direction, each player in turn must play a card from their hand that is ONE number higher than the card on top of the discard pile. You would play a 0 after a 9.

Continue to go around until a player can not do this and they will draw 3 cards.
