Until the Frost Comes is a solo roll-and-write game of mapping your new domain of the Autumn Court.
You are the latest ruler of the Fairie Autumn Court, trying to build up your reputation by enchanting humans foolish enough to venture into your lands; protecting your borders against the Summer and Winter Courts with brambles; and decorating the land with pumpkins, apples, and festively colored leaves to make it feel autumnal.
Of course, not everyone in the Autumn Court wants you to succeed... Puck, Tricksters, Redcaps, Changelings, and the Wild Hunt all work against you, trying to ruin your plans!
During each of the 13 turns, roll 5 six-sided dice, consult the chart for rolls of singles, doubles, or triples going through the dice from lowest to highest, then choose any hex you'd like, and using a pencil draw what the chart says in that hex. At the end of the game, tally each type of item you have drawn on the map to get your score.
