Untold Classes: Psion

The Psion is an attempt to fill the “powerful psionic who weakens themselves when using their powers” design space - sitting somewhere between the Warlock, Paladin, Wizard and Monk. It is envisaged as equivalent to a 2/3rds spellcaster with physical telekinesis and four subclasses specialising in other Psionic areas linked to existing schools of magic.

These class rules have been playtested through three full iterations and numerous small design tweaks before arriving at this released version. We believe we have tested it sufficiently to rule out possible multiclassing exploits and demonstrate that the class and its four subclasses are not overpowered or likely to derail or curtail someone’s game.
