V'lar Hammerhead

Built by the enigmatic V'lar, the Mokkaran-class, or “Hammerhead”, is a warship designed to combat the Terran ConFederation. The four-level interior is a mix of organic growth and technology. It has a large bomb bay and a cargo hold, as well as crew quarters, medical, and tactical chambers. Armed with numerous turrets, planetary assault missiles, and a capital-scale arc projector, this battleship also carries 8 fighter pods and a crew of 50.
The V’lar are a race of jellyfish-like aliens who typically travel about attached to a humanoid host whom they puppet via filaments insinuated into the host’s nervous system. Their ships are a hybrid design utilizing common technological elements (such as engines and weapons) built into an organically grown hull.
It is expected that the V’lar will be replaced by whatever alien races inhabit your particular game setting and that the ships will be used for fully biological, plant, or even undead craft in addition to hybrid designs. The PDF documents include renderings and orthographic views to support these alternate themes.
The V’lar Hammerhead package contains five highly detailed, layered PDF files:
• Main Book
- 21 page PDF file detailing the ships and interior areas.
- Contains 3D rendered scenes as well as orthographic views of the ships in various themes (undead, plant, etc.)
- Background, art, and text are on different layers for custom display and printing.
• Map Pages
- 40 page PDF file containing complete interior color maps at 1 inch = 5 ft scale.
- Divided into pages for easy printing.
- Selectable layers include a 1-inch grid, black & white version, and optional cargo.
• Uncut Map Images
- A layered PDF file containing a large, uncut image of the deckplans.
- 25x72 inch uncut image
- A text-free jpeg image, grid-aligned, on a dark background is provided for VTT use.
