Valkyrie is a game of checkers with 2 boards. One is Midgard (Earth), the other Asgard (heaven). When the game starts, each player has three gods and a Valkyrie on first board 9 troops (human or monsters) on the second board.
Player wins the battle if he eliminate 3 opponent's gods or has last man standing on the second board.
In his turn player has 2 actions/movements according to the following rules:
troops move one square in the 8 directions
the gods move one square orthogonally and never back
the Valkyries move freely on the set except the last line.
If the move ends on square with an opponent the battle begins.
The value of a pawn in combat is equal to the value of the piece (5 for the gods, 1 to 3 for the troops).
The Valkyries may move a troop from one world to another if it stands one of the adjacent square.
