Varya: Spellmasters is a fast-paced "take that" set collection card game, with an element of resource management. It is thematically set within the Varya universe, where mages and spell casters use elements to bend the world around them to their will. Players within this game are competing to be crowned as the Champion Spellmaster
Varya: Spellmasters is designed to be played by 2-5 players from start to finish in 15 minutes. Gameplay is easy to pick up, as players perform one action on their turn before play passes to the next player.
Spells are cast by focusing on the elements (playing an element card on the table in front of the player) and then playing a spell card. Focusing on an element counts as the player's action for that turn. Spells which affect the field of play are drawn throughout the course of the game.
The first player to cast 2 Master Spells will be crowned champion and win the game!
