In Várzea, the players of an amateur soccer team must deal with the attacks of the opposing team, the irregularities of the field and a cow.
On each turn the active team may have up to 3 flicks on the ball. Before each flick, the opposing team can move the cow to one of the other black dots on the field. The team must flick the ball at least one time before a goal. If the flick aims to score a goal, the team must announce to the opponent team. After the announcement and before the flick, the opponent team can replace the goalkeeper. The shift ends if the team flicks the ball 3 times, if the team throws the ball out of bounds or if the team scores a goal. The game ends as soon as one of the teams scores 10 goals and becomes champion!
