From publisher blurb:
If you've ever wanted to play a sneaky, clever poisoner, have we ever got you covered this month!
Rangers can now take the new Slayer archetype, which uses stealth and poison to bring down powerful enemies. Maybe for money, maybe for revenge.
Rogues can now be Poisoners, who specialize in the use of toxins in a myriad of ways beyond just doing damage with them.
Wizards can now train as a Venomancer, a specialist in toxic arcana that can poison their enemies' magic and deliver toxins through spells.
And both rangers and rogues can take advantage of the new Viper's Fangs combat tradition whose maneuvers allow the use of humble consumables in new and innovative ways. Basic poison has never been so versatile!
Venomous Shadow also includes three synergy chains, one for each two-class combination of ranger, rogue, and wizard. Even if poison isn't your thing, you will want these synergy feats; they will work equally well with any combination of archetypes that you can come up with.
Ranger/rogues can take the new Stalker feat chain, making them the unquestioned masters of stealth.
Ranger/wizards can take the new Arcane Scout feat chain to tap into the magic of the wilds, allowing them supernatural awareness and traveling prowess in wild settings as well as a few other exciting tricks like the ability to attach spells to arrows and fire them!
Rogue/wizards get access to the new Underworld Mage feat chain, allowing them to encode their spells with thieves' cant, encrypt their spellbooks, do far more than normal with mage hand and even learn spells that they save against.
