This an alternate history game set in London, 1867. The 'steampunk' gameworld posits magic, airships, other manner of mythological manifestations.
This core book contains all rules needed to play the game including information on the history, society and science of the world. Gameplay information includes character creation, skills, combat rules, other dramatic systems, various colleges of magic, a section with NPCs (supporting cast) and another on running the game. The book also contains a sample adventure and conversion rules to take characters from Victoriana into other Fuzion system games.
The book's background goes into detail about the presence of class, racial and gender inequality and reminds the player to fight against such injustice where they can.
