User Summary
In this fast-action drag racing game you run your car through the gears in a race against the clock or another player.
Select one of four cars -- from the sedate, slow revving family sedan, to the dragster that requires quick-shifting to keep from blowing the engine. Starting lights count down to the start of the race. Don't hit the gas too soon or you will "red light" and lose.
The free-floating Fairchild control stick functions as your car's H-pattern gear shift. Twisting the stick gives your racer the gas. An on-screen tachometer shows your RPMs climb toward the red-line to help you determine when to shift to keep from blowing your engine while still getting as fast a run as possible.
To help you get the hang of the controls, a practice mode is offered which slows down the action.
