From the introduction:
In the year 1000 first Vikings landed on the shores of a new land. Northlanders named the new land Vínland, and over time established the thirteen kingdoms of Vínland.
In 1534, three French ships arrived to the Vínland’s shores, but were fought off and sailed south. No one ever heard of them again, until a small fleet showed up again twenty years later. French failed to conquer Vínland, and sailed south again. They managed to establish a colony this time around.
Three years ago, the treacherous frog eaters attacked the southernmost of the Vínland kingdoms, Kjetilsfjord. French regiments managed to push the bloody frontier through two other kingdoms, Ragnarland and Norgeborg, and the bloody frontier has now reached Eiriksfjord. What will happen next?
