Virtual Pool 3, by Celeris, provides a very accurate representation of various real-world pool and billiard games. The player can set-up his own games, or play through a career mode which features AI players of increasing difficulty, and a variety of more and more challenging tables.

The backgrounds of the pool venues are rendered to provide a suitable atmosphere.

In-game, the player has extensive control over table view and aiming options. After setting up that perfect shot, a forward mouse movement decides the force of the shot, adding an element of manual dexterity to the game.
