Void Bastion is a strategic survival and resource management board game set in a modular station buried deep in the Arctic. In a world where empires are powered by Arctic energy and secrets lie beneath ancient ice, players take on the role of station commanders, tasked with expanding, protecting, and maintaining humanity’s last scientific stronghold.
The station is constantly threatened by disasters: meteor strikes, internal sabotage, fire, water, electromagnetic anomalies, and personnel loss. Players must deploy a limited pool of crew tokens—each with unique abilities—to construct modules, fulfill contracts, activate technologies, and survive. Resources are tightly interwoven: energy, science, and food fuel everything, from shield activation to healing crew.
Each game unfolds over 14 rounds, divided into development, disaster, and recovery phases. Players must anticipate incoming threats using Disaster Warning cards, link modules for synergistic production, manage hospital overflow, and strategically sacrifice or protect their personnel.
In the end, only those who adapt, innovate, and care for both their infrastructure and their crew will survive the Void.
