TO OOZE OR NOT TO OOZE
The vrgrybl arrived on a meteor one day, the massive space rock slamming into a section of Lowcity that had been left to rust into obscurity. Few people expected anything to be living on the meteor, until three beings made of ooze with small crystals inside them exited the wreckage and began to explore Lowcity, wanting to learn more about it. For a while, many people were confused about the vrgrybl and what their goals were, but when it was discovered that the ooze that made up their bodies absorbed and neutralized paragite run-off and instead produced neutral minerals, the vrgrybl were welcomed into Lowcity's Eastern Quarter with gusto and eventual warmness. Soon, folks discovered that the ooze was just a suit to protect the vrgrybl's actual form the small sentient crystals floating in the "head" of the ooze. Their love of philosophy and theoretical astrophysics has made many a vrgrybl welcome guests in Argentum Square and at the Collegium Beacarum, and recently, more vrgrybl have been arriving in Beacon from their rocky homeworld of Vrg.
