This is a journaling game requiring one player, a pack of 52 standard playing cards and a six-sided die (1d6) or another suitable randomizer.
You are a rambler who enjoys going off into the countryside on your own, wandering over hill and dale, through woods and valleys, happy when exploring the area. You put on some hiking boots, grab a walking stick and backpack and some strong clothes in case of inclement weather or rough terrain and set off. You have a bedroll, tent and food, together with some cooking equipment in your supplies, so perhaps you will camp out overnight, or perhaps you will return after a few hours. You take a journal with you and perhaps a camera, to keep track of what you find.
