Each player choose a pair of colored metal slipper tokens. Then, one of each pair is dropped into a bag and placed at the race's end (the castle). Progress is determined by drawing character cards that tell how many spaces to move, with each player moving using their remaining slipper. The player who gets to the castle first chooses a slipper randomly from the bag and if it matches theirs, they win the game and become Cinderella. If not, they go back and start the race again from the middle of the game track.
