War of the Realms is an asymmetric, tactical card game for two players that embraces RTS and TBS games from the past with nostalgic pixel art!
In the game, cards can be played by discarding required number of other cards from hand. Units can be sent to attack enemy realm or defend the player's own realm. The player can also build structures, play events or play upgrade cards. The player can also upgrade their realm, if required cards for next level are in play.
The combat is resolved with dice rolls. After dice result and modifiers are added, the result is compared to an enemy’s armor values. Then the corresponding damage is inflicted.
The game ends if a player destroys an opponent's realm. Alternatively, the game can be won if a realm is upgraded to level 3.
