Your WWII Australian soldiers face the Japanese and the unknown. Some of the Hostiles are the scattered remnants of a Japanese force that is starving, diseased, and possibly going insane. Some of the hostiles are “Shadows” – these may be human or not, the player will only know at the end. The last of the hostiles are “Finds” that may give a clue to what is happening. Find enough clues, eliminate enough Shadows and the tales of R’lyeh may be explained in rational terms even if horrible. Fail and no amount of human firepower will defeat the Ancient Old Ones.
