Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Winter Assault

Winter Assault is an expansion in Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War Real Time Strategy series. It introduces the Imperial Guard, a defensively oriented force which focuses on quantity rather than quality in its troops, as a playable faction. It also applies some changes to the original four armies, such as limiting the weapons choices for some of the troops, to help balance the game.
The single player Campaign mode features two paths, one featuring the Imperial Guard and Eldar while the other features Orks and Chaos, in a story centering on capturing a massive Titan warmachine.
Winter Assault does require the original Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War to play.
