This wizard option allows you to transform your familiar into a more powerful form right from level 2. As a weapon familiar you can have it attack in your stead, channel not only touch spells but also those that grant you attacks such as Booming Blade or Steel Wind Strike!
As you gain experience you'll eventually learn to channel arcane power directly into the blade allowing it to perform a flurry of deadly attacks in a furious Blade Dance. It can share your space while performing defensive maneuvers. Finally, you'll learn to let the magic of its Blade Dance call a Dance Partner that you wield or have created with a spell and together they will become a runaway destructive force.
