Mutant apocalypse role playing offers a rich, colorful world to explore and there’s no reason for the characters in the game to not be as equally colorful. Naturally there’s a desire to stay alive but what are the real reasons that the PCs or NPCs away from their home adventuring? What was their home like to begin with? What kind of gear do they start out with? Any weird personality features or odd cosmetic mutations?
This random roller product offers a collection of instructions, charts, and mutant creation sheets to help the GM or Player quickly flesh out the origins of mutant characters. The information is made to be as informative and yet as system generic as possible, allowing you to incorporate these creation rules into both published and home brewed game systems. Once you have used these rules you can further flesh out the character by incorporating what you have rolled up with this guide into your game’s regular character sheet information.
Included in the product are instructions and/or charts for creating the following details: Name, Gender, Age, Home Type, Purpose for Adventuring, Persona Trait, Cosmetic Mutation, Starting Weapon (melee), Starting Gear, Special Clothing Item, and a carried Trinket. There’s also a place on the mutant creation sheets for an image/illustration and additional background notes.
