Weird but True!: The Game is a trivia game for 2 to 5 players aged 8 years and up. Based on the National Geographic Kids app and book series, players take turns reading wild facts from over 200 questions for everyone to discuss, debate, and decide the correct answer.
Each player gets a chance to answer every question for the chance to move ahead on the spiral game board. Some questions allow for multiple winners; others only allow one winner. The first to the Winner's Circle wins.
There are five categories of questions, including:
Fact & Fiction compares two seemingly unlikely facts for the players to determine which is true.
Brain Blitz is a timed elimination challenge for each player to name items from a given topic without hesitating or repeating one already mentioned.
What's Your Number? seeks for each player to guess as close as possible to an outrageous number included in a fact.
