This chapter overhauls the Werewolf Den chapter:
For the Love of Mother Night. This new storyline features the return of Arabelle and her father Luvash. Having had enough of Barovia, Luvash and several Vallaki Vistani pack up their vardos and head west to leave behind this dismal realm. Alas, the werewolves, ever in search of new meat, attack the convoy and abduct six children—including Arabelle. Aghast, Mother Night herself sends an adventurer a vision of Kiril Stoyanovich's grisly tournament to select the next "winner" of lycanthropy. As the descendant of Madam Eva, Mother Night's chief hierophant, and heir to the throne of Barov, the deity calls upon the party to rescue Arabelle. For their cooperation, she lifts the curse on the treasure hoard heaped around her statue in the Den.
Luvash and Zuleika. With Arabelle kidnapped, Luvash and his Vistani set out suicidally for the Werewolf Den. Along the way, the adventurers meet Zuleika, who is being hounded by Kiril's six most savage werewolves. With Luvash and Zuleika at their side, the adventurers must choose between slaughtering all werewolves, as Luvash demands, or sparing the most uncorrupted among them as Zuleika requires.
Revision. Strahd has been written out of this chapter, as his presence, I fear, detracts from the overall experience.
