What Lurks Beneath Tidewatch Tower is an adventure site for 3-5 level 3 characters. It is suitable for one-shot or single session and easy to drop into any campaign with a coastal region. Tidewatch Tower was designed for Shadowdark RPG but is broadly compatible with OSR and NSR systems.
The players will explore a coastal tower and the caves beneath it, searching for pirate treasure while dealing with the terrible effects of a cursed idol. Undead sea creatures, scheming cephalopods and spurned lovers all converge to challenge the adventurers.
This adventure was originally written for the Wavestone Keep contest at tenfootpole.org. It has since been revised, expanded and converted to Shadowdark RPG.
