From publisher blurb:

This book is divided into four parts. The first is a bit of information about the Kingdom of Brithos, the greater setting for this campaign. The second is a mini-grimoire of additional spells used in this campaign, and these can be made available for players to use, at GM discretion. The third is an overview of the Village of Sanctuary, a small community that can be used as both a home base for the player characters and an inspiration for adventure. The last section is a series of connected adventures designed to prepare the PCs for the forthcoming God-Wizards’ War and place them center stage in the conflict. The first scenario takes place during Drycup (late summer) of 305 B.R., and the last occurs roughly two months later on the 15th of Treeturn.

The players’ characters should be good at heart, even if they are rough around the edges. If the adventures that follow are to have any meaning, the PCs should have a common interest in defending the weak and righting wrongs. They begin as relative unknowns in the Village of Sanctuary, but if they survive the scenarios herein, they gain wealth, fame, and the ear of the King of Brithos. By the end of this campaign, they are hopefully poised to begin a second story arc focused upon the civil war and the struggle for survival.
