Whiteout is a solo / co-operative play miniatures game of survival while trying to achieve the government’s nefarious aims. You are challenged with completing your mission while both the enemy and the environment try their best to kill you.
The game is played on a 4x6 board of 1’ square squares. The scale is abstracted and each square represents a region that the characters are in. In actuality, the squares might represent a vast snowy plain, a huge crevasse field or a little area around a hut for example.
The map is expanded with a randomly determined terrain square when a character leaves the chartered area of the table, and an encounter card is revealed when entering that new area.
The board is explored until the characters reach the mission goal.
