Widget Mechs is a strategic dice game. Players are working to build their mechs while destroying their opponent's mechs. You roll dice that you then must combine in different ways to determine where you want to build or attack.
You have to evaluate where you can best improve your position, defend yourself from attack, and where to strike a victorious blow on your opponents.
After dice are rolled, you choose how to pair them up to get different pair totals. To build or attack a part, you need a pair matching the part's value. For each unique completed part you have, you get to add one die to your attack roll, giving you more attack options.
The easier it is for you to complete a portion of your mech, the easier it is for your opponent to destroy. Each part you destroy is a victory point and the most victory points at the end of the game wins.
