From publisher blurb:
'Wilbur' is a quick-adventure for a party of four 5th level characters. Very little adaptation should be necessary to use in any campaign setting.
Adventure Background
Emilia Borsch is a survivor. She has been running her family farm for the last 20 years. Ten of them by herself while raising a son. Her husband died not long after her sons birth. To her surprise the boy inherited his fathers lycanthropy. Wilbur, as she calls him, is a young man a the age of 13. He's only recently become aware of his life as a wereboar. Both he and his mother were shocked and surprised.
Wilbur is a good boy. He's struggling with his more feral instincts. Emilia is worried her boy is falling under the sway of a sounder of wereboar that recently has moved through the area. She is afraid the sounder is going to turn her boy rotten, and make him into one of them. When Wilbur finally flat out refused them they attacked and severely injured the boy.
At the end of her rope the farming woman has sent out a call for adventurers. She's offering a reward in the form of a magical item. A trinket left over by her late husband. In return she wants the sounder driven off. She isn't asking for them to be killed, but is afraid it may be inevitable.
