Rangers are enigmatic villains. The NPCs in this supplement evoke the bowhunting, nature-protecting, survivalist archetype of the ranger character class. Since Aragorn, we have come to see rangers as mostly good-aligned NPCs. But, whether for one encounter, or a whole campaign, these Wildheart Villains are nature’s vanguard taken to its extreme.
