Description

Willie Weeties Football was an Australian promotional game found on the back of Weeties Cereal boxes during the 1950's. Produced by the National Biscuit Company, now known in Australia as Nabisco, the game is an adaptation of Australian Rules Football.

Two players are on opposing sides, either red or yellow teams. Players spin a numbered spinner and take turns in moving their playing piece towards their goal along a numbered path set on a football ground. Along the way certain numbered spaces assist or slow progress towards goal. When a player's piece nears goal they have a chance to spin and shoot for goal. The player with the most goals after a designated time is deemed the winner.
