This Class was inspired by the classic Withch Hunters from history, games, books, and all other forms of media.
Witch Hunters are dedicated to the elimination of magic and mages whereever they find them. Some seek a more moderate persective and only fight thoses mages that have turned their magic against the innocent.
Mechanically the Witch Hunter plays like the Fighter, Paladin and Ranger. The Witch hunter is a half caster with intellegence as their spell casting ability modifier. They have a way to expend spell slots for extra damage and have abilities to sense magic and heal themselves while removing negative effects. At later levels they have resistence to spells and can add thier intelligence modififer to other saving throws.
The Witch Hunter has five subclass:
The Order of the Experimentalist that uses potions to enhance their abilities while gainning toxcity.
The Order of the Fanatic which doubles down on the Wicth Hunters zeal to fight harder and survive fatal wounds.
The Order of Flame that uses fire to burn their enemies to ash and gets cantrips.
The Order of the Torturer that knows the mob rules and uses people to accomplish their tasks.
The Order of the Trapper that go into the far reaches of the world to catch their prey using traps and firearms to get the upper hand.
