From the introduction:
In an alternate dimension Germany won World War 2 and invaded the United States thanks in part to new weapon technology based on radiation. They also discovered an unusual creature loose in the United States, a creature that thrived in the war-torn cities – a Fenrir Wolf.
After capturing the wolf, they devised experiments to test the effectiveness of their weapons on the creature. However, during the experiment the weapon was damaged and it opened a portal and transported three humans and the Fenrir Wolf to our dimension in a flash.
