The restored Pendragon line, thriving after the chaos of the Extinguishing, has consolidated power on the South Western coast of England. Camelot now stretches from Cornwall to Dorset, with a loyal protectorate in Caerleon, Wales. The great King Durmorg Pendragon, after a decade of tireless struggle, now lays on his deathbed. His two sons Mandrake and Luthor (known as the Two Wolves), once the most feared and unified commanders in the South, are at odds. Mandrake is a hero to the myriad of new Species who have arrived from the Otherworld via Merlin’s portal. Mandrake has embraced his propensity for Magic and his new position as the saviour of the lost. Luthor, the younger of the two, is said to be the one who has inherited his father’s iron will and judicial disposition. Only one brother may take the throne, but many powers are at work seeking to capitalise from the destabilisation of England’s (currently) most robust Kingdom.
