Description

From publisher blurb:

There are powerful curses in existence that can last for generations or effect the progeny of those that bear a curse. Imagine a hag cursing two parents to have their firstborn child to be born afflicted with the nature of chaos and entropy. Perhaps a cursed bloodline causes every person born into a specific lineage to die by the age of 30, in exchange for unnatural power. Perhaps a curse was set upon an unsuspecting fellow, stealing away their name and their very identity. No matter the root cause of the curse, the power that overcomes those with this curse can tear away at one’s soul and life force until there is nothing left.

Sorcerers with a Cursed Bloodline are born with their power coming from a curse placed on their blood, passing the curse between generations, and sometimes only making an appearance in certain family members. In exchange for the burden of the curse, these sorcerers have overflowing raw magic, and gain some control and some benefits to their spellcasting due to the raw, unfiltered power of their curse.

Before their life force burns away, many of these sorcerers must choose a path to follow:

Do they use these powers for good?
Do they use these powers for selfish gain?
Do they pursue a way to cure them of this seemingly incurable malady?
Do they let the melancholy of their finite existence draw them into the darkness?

No matter what, Cursed Bloodline Sorcerers will never know peace until they accept their supernatural curse.
