The game last 18 turns, spanning the time period of 1914-1918.
"One Player is the Entente Powers (EP): Britain, France, Russia, Serbia, Italy, Romania, Greece, USA. The other Player is the Central Powers (CP): Austria-Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey."
The game is played across six fronts: Western, Eastern, Balkan, Italian, Turkish, and the "War at Sea." There are three Territory Markers at each Front. A Front is captured by winning all three Territory Markers at the Front.
"Victory: The first player to capture the Western Front wins the War. If the EP captures the Eastern Front he wins the War. After 18 turns the player who has captured the most Fronts wins, otherwise it is a Stalemate."
