X-Com: UFO Express

Designed for the June 2012 24-Hour Game Design Contest, this game aims to summarize the classic computer game 'X-Com - Enemy Unknown" into a quick game that can be played in about 15 minutes.

X-Com - UFO Express is a Solitaire game, where players take on the role of the leader of an X-Com squad - An elite team enlisted to save earth from the incoming alien threat. The game takes place in 2 phases. Players first need to neutralize the alien threat around the world (by playing through 12 increasingly difficult encounters), and then storming the alien base at the end to eliminate the threat.
