Romeo Roberts and Juliet Leonard were initially drawn to each other by the pairing of their first names. Then, they discovered a shared love for violence and bloodshed that caused their love to bloom. After a five-state crime spree that included robbing six banks and murdering nine people in cold blood, they were eventually apprehended. A speedy trial and conviction sent Romeo to Riverbend Penitentiary and Juliet to Elmhurst Correctional. But, during that time, they've never stopped writing to each other. Each month for the last few months, they've been sending Valentine's cards back and forth. Romeo always signs his cards with an X, and Juliet always signs hers with an O.
