Zapotec: Quick Start

The Quick Start module adds asymmetrical setup to Zapotec.

After performing all other setup steps as normal (including starting basic resources), each player is dealt 2 random Quick Start cards from which they will choose 1 card and receive its depicted benefits.

The benefits of each Quick Start card may be simple—gain an advanced resource or two, start with a building, etc.—but their impact will be immediately noticeable without disturbing the delicate balance of the actions you take in the game.

In fact, certain Quick Start benefits may enable a simple Capital action on your first turn of the game.
