Publisher's blurb:
Provides an extravagant Domain of Delight with multiple locations available to explore in a sandbox structure.
Unlike many adventures which choose heavy, dark themes, Zep is a light hearted, humorous, relaxed setting. There may be problems that are introduced at the start of the session, but the party typicaly has the option to simply go off and do something more enjoyable instead. Zep is a true Domain of Delight which provides a contrast to the tone of adventures commonly found in the Forgotten Realms.
The sections within each adventure are typicaly simplified to make them easy to run for new DMs and reduce prep time. In fact reading ahead is generally not necessary, which makes running an session in Zep as light hearted for the DM as it is for the players.
Suitable for all ages, Zep is a place to stretch your imagination and practice collaborative storytelling! Exploration sections are emphasised throughout that do not even require the players to know the rules of D&D, only to bring a sense of fun, communication and fairness to other players.
At Tier 1 the party is invited to explore the Feywild at the Zep College of Bards, The Court of Arthur Twinkle-toes, participate in the recreational activites of one of the happiest places in the multiverse and even go to the Mall!
In Tier 2, these locations can be accessed at any time during any of the adventures from level 5 to 10 by utilizing the content contained in WBW-DC-ZEP-T2S0 Zep Cultural Guide. This adventure does not contain permanent magic item rewards and is designed to be used in conjunction with the other Tier 2 adventures. Therefore, the party can access all areas even if they choose to start at level 5 - new for Season 11 Adventurers League!
Together Zep includes a dozen adventures that can be played in a variety of ways to take a party from level 1 to 11! Tier 2 adventure playstyles can be selected according to the desired focus. Whether it be on Exploration, Roleplay, or Combat, the content of each session can easily be configured to the three pillars of D&D in a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure format. Seven additional playstyles are also outlined for maximum flexibility and fun!
This adventure is designed for three to seven 1-4-level characters and is optimized for five characters with an average party level (APL) of 3.
