Description

From publisher blurb:

The existence of superpowers forced every government in the world to scramble to create their own specialized covert operations groups. The old game of spies and saboteurs was mild compared to the new game. Superpowered agents possessed powers that enabled them to walk through walls, turn invisible, read minds, or destroy tanks with but a flick of the wrist.

In the race to create covert groups with SPBs (superpowered beings) of their own, the United States government formed Zero Company. They recruited agents willing to do whatever was necessary to protect the nation’s secrets and take down their enemies. While Zero Company boasted many successes and earned a fearsome reputation, its members tended to ignore laws, overlook citizens’ rights, and inflict excessive amounts of collateral damage. Zero Company took on the dirtiest black ops their country could hand them. The records of their missions are heavily redacted and have been sealed away under a protective order. Only a few people know how many crimes the group committed in pursuit of their duties.
